Under 11 Devine had a good game against Pine Rivers Under 11 Green at Scarborough State School this afternoon unfortunately the weather gods intervened with us needing 1 run to win and seven overs to spare. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped out our team is improving every time they play.

U14 - Stimpson
U/14 Stimson played The Lakes U/14 Red at North Lakes State college and pulled off their first win of the season. The whole team dug deep and supported each other to contribute to the result. Week 1 The Lakes won the toss and decided to bat.
Our bowlers struck hard and fast with early wickets to Jazz, Taj, and Ethan seeing The Lakes 3/3 Cyclones were certainly in command of the day with Ethan, Eli, and Ryan taking 2 wickets each. Jazz, Taj, Kai, and Ruby took one each and there were great catches from Brady, Ethan, and Oliver. Special shout out to Roy with awesome figures of 0/4 after 4 overs.
North Lakes were all out for 113 after 39 overs and our team went in to bat to close out the afternoon. Ending the days play at 2/43.
Day 2 the skies were looking ominous when we headed out to bat, we lost an early wicket before the team locked in to keep the runs ticking over. We reached the target of 113 and had a number of batters retire and come back in before the skies opened up and ended the match early. Ethan was left hoping for just one more over being stuck on 96 not out. Our day finished with a comprehensive win at 9/223.
