U10 McDonald

Good win for the U10s today, big effort in the field got us over the line. Player of the match to Josh A for good bowling and fielding - sorry no photo. Good first game from Seb. Top score to Ryan and Lucy and Josh sharing top wicket takers with both taking 2 scalps, plus an extra run out for Josh.

U11 - Devine

Under 11's Devine had a loss yesterday against Pine Rivers after being bowled out for 56 in 9.2 overs Pine Rivers showed great sportsmanship in allowing us to bat again for another 8 overs to get some practice. Shout out to them for this gesture and we batted better the second time around. In our bowling innings we had them 5 down before they passed our total, 6 of our bowlers took wickets in a good bowling display. Great display of wicket keeping taking 2 catches and affecting a run out earned Austin W a well deserved Player of the Match. Special mention too for Oliver S carrying his bat for 29* to top score and taking 2 wickets.

U12 - Stevenson

U12's Stevenson played Valley White today and came away with an opening round victory. Defeating Valley's, chasing down Valleys 5/130 from 30 overs with our guys finishing with 8/137 from 26 overs. Player of the match Max M made 55 from 38 balls which included 8/4's while being backed up by a number of other batters today. Coach Duane was very proud of today's effort saying that all the players have improved a lot over the Xmas break. Riley L player his first ever game of Club Cricket today and played very well for a new player in his first game and went away with a lot more confidence.
