Match Reports

U11 - Devine

U11's Devine had to Forfeit yesterday due to the fact we only had 4 players. So we combined with the Brisbane Boys Grammar team and played a friendly 7 a side , 25 over game. We didn't quite get the last few overs in before the rain started.

The players who attended had a fun game and learnt a few more skills. They are improving each game.

The Grammar players and parents where a group of really good people.

Redcliffe City Cyclones vs Albany Creek Falcon Hawks ~

Our U13 Cyclones put in a huge effort against a strong Albany Creek side over two hot days playing at Genesis Christian college.

The Hawks posted 7/170 with our bowlers working hard to maintain pressure throughout the innings. The fielding was a highlight with several excellent catches and key wickets that kept us in the game.

With the bat the Cyclones showed great determination finishing on 101. A few steady partnerships helped rebuild the innings and demonstrated solid resilience against some tight bowling.

In the Hawks second innings our bowlers continued to compete strongly taking some impressive catches and showing real improvement in bowling and fielding.

While the result didn’t go our way this time, there were plenty of positives to take from the match. Awesome teamwork, strong effort in the field and continued growth across the group. A great first game for several new players and thanks to those who stepped in to help the team.

U14 - Stimpson

Highlights

Elijah P - Bowling 3/51 off 6 overs

Oliver C - Batting 52 of 54 balls, 11 fours
