Redcliffe City Junior Cricket Club











Notice of Annual General Meeting.

 

In accordance with our constitution notice is now given for our Annual General Meeting 7pm 16/July/2025 Clubhouse, Filmer Park.


And as such all-committee positions will be declared vacant and a new committee will be voted in.


Section 13.1.5 states:

“Nominations for the Cyclones Committee must be done using the relevant Cyclones form and can only be nominated and seconded by existing committee members, nominations must be presented to the President and Secretary prior to the meeting starting.”

 

The simple reality is we need people to step up and take on a number of roles. We can not proceed with the upcoming summer season without these roles being filled. Without people in all these roles the club will not be able to function, and we will have to cut back or not continue with certain programs.

 

Over the past few years we have worked incredibly hard to put systems in place to make things significantly easier for those taking over.

Asset Manager

 

Other positions we have to fill are:

  • Social Media Manager

  • BNJCA delegate

  • MBRC delegate

  • Website manager

  • PlayHQ coordinator

  • Rep selection committee

  • Development squad committee

  • Blue Card coordinator

  • School and Grounds coordinator

  • Blasters coordinator

  • Blasters helpers

  • Groundsmen (for helping to mow around the clubhouse, maintaining our shed and nets)

  • Groundsmen helpers (helping coaches and managers maintain other fields, spray lines etc)

  • Rep Committee Secretary/ coordinator

  • Grants coordinator

  • Sponsorship and Fundraising team

  • Coaches and team managers

  • General volunteers - these can be one off jobs for the whole season - eg: organising club photos, trophies etc


Note, some of the above positions are currently filled with some staying on. The above list is to give an idea of some of the positions that it takes to run this club.
